Funeral services for Patrick Bell, 61 of Weaver will be 1 pm, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11- 1 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Bell passed away December 2, 2017 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab. He is survived by his wife Trina Bell; daughter, Jennifer Johnson (Adam); son, Chris Bell (Brooke); grandchildren, Jackson Bell, Laura Kate Bell, Lizzy Johnson and Cooper Johnson; sister, Lorraine Morrison (Jack); his brother, Jeff Bell; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents, John and Carolyn Bell and his sister-in-law, Patricia Bell. Pallbearers will be Chris Bell, Adam Johnson, Kenton Sprayberry, Mark Mitchell, Jamie Lucas and Justin Bell. Mr. Bell was born in Japan, but was a resident of Weaver for most of his life. He was a 1974 graduate of Weaver High School and an Eagle Scout. He served active duty Air Force and retired from the 187th Fighter Wing, Air National Guard. He also retired as a civilian from the U.S. Government. He was also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
