A memorial service for Paula Kay Henry Napoli, 64, will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 5 p.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Rev. Ken Phillips and Dr. Debra Goodwin officiating. Mrs. Napoli died on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Duke University Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Vincent R. Napoli Jr., of Jacksonville; her daughter, Olivia Napoli Jackson and her husband, Horace, of Fairhope; her son, Paul Anthony Napoli and his wife, Jessie, of Concord, N.C.; five grandchildren, Maria Napoli, Turner Jackson, Helena Jackson, Nina "Allie" Jackson and Paul Napoli; one sister-in-law, Patricia Holmes and her husband, Gene, of Bellingham, Wash. and two nieces, Carrie Bieber of Bellingham, Wash. and Kelli McLauchlin, of Detroit, Michigan. Mrs. Napoli was a 1970 graduate from Heath High School in Heath, Ohio. Upon graduation she received her BS in Education from Ohio State University in 1975 and her MS in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University. Mrs. Napoli was an Instructor Emerita at Jacksonville State University and served as the Director of the Cynthia H. Harper Child Study Center. She was a friend to all who knew her and loved her family dearly. Mrs. Napoli will be greatly missed by those who held her so close to their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul E. and Lois Nance Henry and her sister, Debra E. McLauchlin.
