The funeral service for Mrs. Pauline Angel Johnson, 89, will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2016, at Angel Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend Jerry Starling and the Reverend Gene Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Seven Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Johnson passed away on December 1, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Rome, Ga. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Angel Grove Baptist Church. She loved all her family especially her children, grandchildren and church family. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Clayton Johnson; a daughter, Sherryl Dianne Johnson; a grandson, Thomas Ross Johnson Jr.; her parents, Tom and Ethel Angel; two brothers, Clytus Angel and Roscoe Angeland a sister, Mary Hyde. She is survived by two sons, Stephen Lamar Johnson Sr. (Candace) and Thomas Ross Johnson Sr. (Debi); three grandchildren, Emi Burton (Johnathon), Ben Johnson (Lyndsey), and Stephen Lamar Johnson Jr. (Gina); five great- grandchildren, Madison Burton, Clayton Ross Johnson, Brooklyn Johnson, Ethan Johnson, and Zeke Johnson; a brother, Eugene Angel (Sue); a sister, Betty Noah; a sister-in-law, Gladys Angel and a brother-in-law, Jim Hyde. Pallbearers will be Randy Harcrow, Kenny Griffin, Rick Davis, Matt Griffin, Jordan Kittrell, and Noah Davis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angel Grove Baptist Church, 4404 Alabama Highway 204, Jacksonville, AL 36265. Online condolences may be made to the family at K.L.
