Funeral service for Pauline V. Maynard, 83, will be Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Bryan Dunaway will be officiating. Entombment will follow in the Forestlawn Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 till 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Maynard passed away on Tuesday at her residence. Survivors include grandchildren, Dewayne Allen, Kimberly Allen Dunaway (Bryan), Michelle Allen, Johnathan Allen and Justin Allen; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Rice; step-children, Sara Maynard Kaylor and Stanley Maynard and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dewayne Allen, Mike Bentley, Tim Johnson, Jeremy Allen, JD Allen and Caleb Magee. Mrs. Maynard was a resident of Oxford. She was a active member of Grace Baptist Church. Mrs. Allen was a avid gardener. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Maynard was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Allen; husband, Ray Maynard; sons, Danny David Allen, Joseph Roger Allen and Thomas Allen; granddaughters, Deanna Danielle Allen and Jennifer Allen; grandson, Edward Deshane Allen; parents, J.J.
