Peggy G. Lecroy Medders Curlee, 65, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015, in Heflin, Alabama. A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral immediately following the visitation on today November 12, 2015 at Dryden Funeral Home at 1467 Almon Street, Heflin, Alabama. Peggy is survived by Jimmy Curlee; her sons, Derek and Storm Medders and Heath Medders; Adam Curlee and Matthew Curlee; her sister, Sandy Renfroe; her brother, Michael and Peggy Lecroy; nine grandchildren, Mary and Mark O'Connell, Shean Medders, Blaise Medders, Devin Medders, Nicholas Medders, Annalise Medders, Warren Medders, Cody Curlee and Kaylee Curlee; two great-grandchildren, Jasen and Victorya O'Connell; six nieces and nephews; her loving companion and dog, Penny; father-in-law and mother- in-law, James and Katye Curlee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Willie Lecroy; her sister, Lyndol Lecroy Craven; nephew, Tim Garrett; her granddaughter, Krista L. Medders. Peggy was a lifelong resident of Alabama and member of DeArmanville United Methodist Church. She had a big heart and was always willing to help people around her. Peggy will be remembered as a loving and caring woman who always went above and beyond for her family. She had a beautiful smile, a fun loving attitude and loved live.
