Funeral service for Mr. Phillip White, 63, will be on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Oliver Jr. officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Phillips passed away on March 7, 2015 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Phillips' remains will arrive at the church two hours prior to his service. Mr. Phillips served in the U.S. Army. He served as a Deacon at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church also a choir member. Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. White; children, Donerick (Ruby), of Heflin, Anita (Eddie) Brown, Tangee Caver, Sharon Caver, Phillip, Jr. (Camilla) White, DeAundra (John) Foster, all of Anniston; siblings, Earnestine White, Sarah Kellam, Evelyn Thomas, all of Detroit, Mich. and Williard White, of Philadelphia, Pa.; 29 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ella Bell White; siblings, Ella Ruth Walker, Bernice Benjamin, Catherine Parks, Billy White, Shedrick White and George White Jr. Anniston Funeral Services "Where service begins and never ends." 256-236-0319
