Funeral ceremony for Queen Esther English-Peters, 84, will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Ross Reed Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Edgemont Cemetery. Public viewing will be held today from 1-8 p.m. with a wake from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Goodson Funeral Home directing. Survivors include daughters, Marsha Still, of Atlanta, Ga.; Henrietta Peters, of Montgomery; Monica Rucker, Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Brandon Hall, of Killen, Texas and LaTasha Jones, of Dayton, Ohio; great-grandchildren Mattisin Jones, of Dayton, Ohio and Cayden Hall (Kameron), of Kansas City, Kan.; brother, Robert "Bob" Motley, of Kansas City, Mo. She was affectionately called Aunt Queenie by her nieces and nephews left behind in Kansas City, Mo., Dayton, Ohio and Wilmington, Delaware. She leaves a host of family and friends throughout the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eula Inez Wilson; sisters, Annie Logan and Geraldine Buchanan; brothers, Don B. Motley, Felmon Motley, George Motley Sr., James Motley, Otto Motley and William Motley.
