Oxford - Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Duke Turley Sr., 79, of Oxford, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Starling officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Turley died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at RMC. Survivors include his grandchildren, Ralph Turley III and Amber Turley; daughter-in-law, Dianne Turley; brother, R.C. Turley and sister, Evelyn (Grover) Whatley; great-grandchildren, Jameson Clay Dopson, Jordan Austen Turley. Pallbearers will be Ronald Howle, Wendell Collum, Charles Howle, Clay Dopson, Bud Cotton, Dylan Cotton. Mr. Turley was a member of Hepsibah Baptist Church and was owner/operator of Turley's Barber Shop and Duke's Trailer Park for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy C. "Dot' Turley, and son, Ralph Duke Turley Jr.. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hepsibah Baptist Church building fund.
