Mr. Ray Mack English, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015. Mr. English was born in Ranburne on September 11, 1932 to the late Dock and Kathleen Walker English. He was employed for 30 years with Gulf Coast Plating in Pensacola, Florida. He was a member of Crumley's Chapel Church of God in Heflin. In addition to his parents, Mr. English is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Hendrix English; his brother, Donald English and his sister, Imogene Hanson. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Jan and Shelton Duncan, Johnny and Tracy English and Jerri and Tim Barnes; his brother and sister, Stanley English and Madeline Pullen; his grandchildren and their spouses, Jared English, Jeremy and Amber English, Justin Duncan, Joshua Barnes, Jessica Duncan, Joel and Adelyn Barnes, Jordan English and Jonah Barnes; his 9 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Joan and Joe Gatlin, Shirlene and Ken Mills and Charles Ray and Brenda Hendrix. Funeral services for Mr. English will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015, at 11 a.m. (Georgia time) at Crumley's Chapel Church of God. The Rev. Neil Fowler will officiate. His grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Music by Tony Mobley. Interment will follow the funeral services at the Cleburne Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 15, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Georgia time) at Rainwater Funeral Home.
