Funeral service for Retired U.S. Air Force Captain Raymond M. Royall, 92, will be Sunday, August 21, 2016, 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. The Rev. Dale Baugus will be officiating. Captain Royall passed away on Sunday at National Health Care. Survivors include his daughter, Loray Stewart (Dr. Ronald Stewart); son, Philip Royall (Sharon); sister, Betty Jo Hanks; brother, George Royall; grandchildren, Trenton Royall, Bradley Royall, Allison Cavender, Chris Stewart, Kelly Brannam, Bethany Campbell, Heather Williams and Audrey Williams; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Captain Royall had a very distinguished career in the U. S. Air Force. While serving Captain, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal, and the Nation Defense Service Medal.
