Anniston - Memorial services for Mr. Richard "Boss Hogg" Braden, 75, of Anniston, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at the press box of Talladega Super Speedway with Danny Waddell and Russell Branham officiating. Mr. Braden passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at RMC. Survivors include his loving wife, Carol Braden; daughter, Jerri Beam; brother, Jimmie Braden (Joyce); sister, Brenda Glover; grandchildren, Jodi Beam (Tyler), Codi Beam (Blake); two great-granddaughters, Karleigh Bennett and Khloe England. Mr. Braden was born and raised in the Anniston area and was a 1957 graduate of Alexandria High School. He worked at M & H Valve for 43 years. After retiring he worked at Cane Creek Golf Course and Talladega Super Speedway for several years. Mr. Braden was a charter member of the "White Flag Club" at Talladega Super Speedway and was involved in Saks Youth Sports Activities for many years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kyle Petty's Victory Junction or to Diabetes research in his memory. Miller Funeral Home
