Robert Sterling Lee, 81, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, April 13, 2017, at his home. His funeral service will be Sunday, April 16, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Saks with the Rev. Randall Reeves officiating. Entombment will be at Forrestlawn Memorial Cemetery in Anniston. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Melba Rosemary Lee; sister, Dorothy Kimbrough; daughter, Glynis Fuqua and her husband, Joe; daughter, Lynne Swindle and her husband, Ron; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many close friends. The son of Walter English Lee and Ollie Mae Azbell, he was a lifelong resident of Anniston and an active and loved member of the First Baptist Church of Saks. Sterling was a friend to all and will be dearly missed. The visitation will be Sunday at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral.
