A Celebration of Life for Mr. Ron "Jo Jo" White, 65, will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Father Chris Hartley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 - 2 p.m. on the same day at the funeral home. Mr. White passed away on March 2, 2016 at RMC. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Terrell; mother, Jane Turner; daughter, Katrina Moore (Carl); son, Craig Terrell (Heidi); grandchildren, Nathan Moore and Savannah Terrell; sisters, Betty Lemmond, Ruby Taylor (James), Brenda Miller and Jackie Shiftlett (MC); brother, Gordon White; sisters-in-law, Brenda White, Debbie McCue and Charlotte Turner; nieces, Sheena Barnes and Bridget Thornell and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Harvie White; son, Christopher Lance White; grandson, Lance Desmond White; brothers, Steven White and Harold Turner and step-father, Ralph Turner. Mr. White served honorably in the Vietnam War. After serving, he came home to work at Anniston Army Depot for 33 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 189 and American Legion 155. Mr. White enjoyed tinkering with all types of precious metals which included coins and jewelry. His book collection included every Louis L'Amour book. He was a diehard Alabama fan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the American Legion 155.
