Funeral service for Mr. Ronald Keith Easterwood, 65, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at West Point Baptist Church with Brother Ronny Moore officiating. Burial will follow at West Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 - 7 p.m. at the church. Mr. Easterwood passed away May 23, 2017 at RMC Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his son, Janzen Cole Easterwood; father, A.C. Easterwood; mother, Alta Easterwood; a sister, Cindi Easterwood Collins. Keith was a native of Cullman and a resident of Jacksonville for the past 40 years. He was a member of West Point Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving with the Third Armor Division in Europe. He loved to read, particularly history related, loved playing with his grandchildren and was an avid Alabama fan. He was a graduate of JSU. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Janie Harris Easterwood; daughter, Leah Johnson and her husband, Cary; grandchildren, Bethany Johnson, Kensleigh Johnson and Salem Jayce Green; brothers, Michael Easterwood (Debbie), Dennis Easterwood (Teri); father and mother-in-law, Robert and Frances Harris; brothers-in-law, Gary Harris (Linda) and Jeff Harris (Cindy); sister-in-law, Robin Harris Boyles (Marty); nieces and nephews, Graham Easterwood, Quinn Collins, Chris Collins (Valerie), Ben Easterwood, Elizabeth Easterwood, Jakob Easterwood, Stacey Parsons (Wes), Mandi Lee (Jeff), Josh Harris, Anna Harris, Shelli Boyles, Hali McNair (Micah) and Calli Boyles, and several great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cary Johnson, Barry McGriff, Jack Steele, Graham Easterwood, Ben Easterwood, Josh Harris, Steve Stricklin and John McPhillips. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alabama Organ Center, 500 22nd Street, South, Suite 102, Birmingham, AL 35233.
