Funeral service for Ronald "Ronnie Baker" Williams, 56, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Seventeenth Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Durant officiating. Mr. Williams will lie in repose one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Public viewing will be from 1 - 7 p.m. today at the chapel. The Goodson Funeral Home, Inc. directing. Survivors include children, Julius (Candis) Thomas, of Anniston, Ursula Ransom, of Anniston, Felicia Thomas, of Atlanta; sisters, Carrie (Charles) McDowell, of Anniston, Carla (Dennis) Baker Sturkie, of Anniston, Tangela (Ced) Baker Bynum, of Clarksville, Tenn., LaSonya Whatley, of Anniston, LaShun Whatley, of Anniston, Connie (David) Fomby Petty, of Hamilton, Ga. and Aretha Johnson, of Anniston; brothers, Rickey Baker, of Nashville, Tenn. and Donald Baker, of Anniston; grandchildren, Quindarius, Barbara, Jadakiss and Derrick; great-grandchild, Bella Webber and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
