Graveside service for Mrs. Rose Edith Raburn will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, August 4, 2014 at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary prior to the service. Mrs. Raburn went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2014. Born August 20, 1925 she was a lifelong resident of Anniston and a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Raburn was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Raburn, Sr. She is survived by her three children, Lt. Col. Retired Henry L. Raburn, Jr. and his wife Rita of Auburn, Mr. David Michael Raburn, Sr. and wife Taska and Cynthia Dee Latham of Eastaboga; grandchildren Michael Vinson Raburn, David Michael Raburn, Jr., Ryanne Finkhousen and Angel Pounds; seven great-grandchildren; and special niece Rosemary Cooley. Pallbearers will be Michael Vinson Raburn, David Michael Raburn, Jr., David Cooley, Tim Tipton, Jeff Finkhousen and Dwayne Pounds. Mrs. Raburn was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her children and friends and will be missed by all. Online condolences made at www.graybrownservice.com
