Funeral service for Rosemarie Klemann Sanders, 88, will be Wednesday, March 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, with the Rev. John Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary Wednesday, one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Sanders died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Jacksonville RMC. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Troy H. Sanders, of Jacksonville; her daughter, Dona Sanders Lusted and her husband Barry, of Baton Rouge, La.; three sons, Ronald T. Sanders, of Piedmont, Bryan D. Sanders and his wife, Yvonne, of North Fort Myers, Fla. and Peter Sanders and his wife, Janice, of Trussville; seven grandchildren, Lori Lusted, Luke Lusted, Emily Sanders Swinehart and her husband, Chad, Kelly Sanders Lopez and her husband, Zach, Ronnie Sanders Jr. and his wife, Holley and Jeannie Sanders; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her family members and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Jacksonville First United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She taught 5th and 6th grade Sunday School for many years at Jacksonville First United Methodist and loved to volunteer wherever needed including the American Red Cross, the former Community Concert Association in Jacksonville and the EENT Clinic at Fort McClellan. Mrs. Sanders was a loving wife, mother and "Grandmommy" and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of the Officer's Wife Club at Fort McClellan and enjoyed playing tennis, swimming, bowling and gardening. Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her parents, Adolf and Marie (Frank) Klemann; three sisters, Erika Schenk, Lotte Meyer and Traudl Nitsche.
