Funeral service for Ruth Ann Curry, 78, will be on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Kelly Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. L.L. Jacobs Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Kelly Springs Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Curry passed away on January 4, 2017 at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Curry's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior her service. A wake will be on Monday evening 6 - 8 in the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel. Survivors include her stepmother, Mary Frances Jacobs; sons, Leonard L. (Emma) Jacobs and Charles L. (Sally) Curry; daughters, Patricia (Willie) Turner, Charlene Curry, Pamela (James) Heath and Tammy (Jerry) Thomas; grandchildren, Leonard Jr. (Veronica), Carlos (Lorna), Tawanda (Lamont), Charnay, Chante, Ginnette, Willie (Tamika), Kelvin, MaShonda, Ashley, Jerald (Jazmine), Jerel and Crystal; 29 great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Pastor L.L. (Emma) Jacobs, Eugene (Renee) Jacobs, Anthony (Marvie) Jacobs, Tony Jacobs, Nina M. Brock, Ollie J. Jacobs, Tina Embry, Sandra (Fred) Crittenden, Essie Jacobs, Casandra Kirksey and Arnetria (Willie) Howard; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Ollie Jacobs; her husband, Fred D. Curry; daughter, Teresa G.
