Mrs. Ruth McGillicuddy, 92, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014. Mrs. McGillicuddy was officially designated as one of Alabama's last surviving World War II NAVY WAVES. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 17, from 9:30 until 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with the Requiem Mass commencing at 10 a.m. Military honors and graveside services will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. To read the full obituary, please visit www.RidoutsValleyChapel.com
