A memorial service for Mrs. Sandra Deason Aids, 69, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at McCoy United Methodist Church in Anniston with the Reverend Debbie Hollingsworth officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Aids passed away on October 3, 2016 at NE Alabama Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Aids worked in the tax preparation business for over 35 years and enjoyed getting to know her clients and working with them over the years. She had also been a member of McCoy United Methodist Church all her life and truly loved each of the dear members there. Mrs. Aids was a caregiver to not only her family but also to countless friends over the years. She also enjoyed meeting and spending time with the classmates from Anniston High School. Mrs. Aids is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Lee and Edna Brady Deason, and her grandparents, Bob and Verna Deason, and George and Eva Brady. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Witte Aids, of Saks; her sons, Chris Aids (Kimberley), of Birmingham, and Jay Aids (Tammy), of Tuscaloosa; grandchildren, Abby Grace Aids and Stella Claire Aids; her grand dog, Hagar, and many cousins.
