Funeral service for Mrs. Sandra Doyal Hamilton, 78 of Jacksonville, will be held Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 11:00 am at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. The Reverend Jack Morgan will officiate and burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Hamilton passed away January 24, 2018 at her home surrounding by her family. Mrs. Hamilton was a native and longtime resident of Calhoun County. She graduated from Jacksonville High School and was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to travel, spending time with family, her grandkids, her church family and friends. Until recently, she was still active with her business, The Tax Table. Mrs. Hamilton is preceded in death by son, Timothy Hamilton; father, Alfred Doyal; mother, Mary Doyal; sister, Brenda Doyal Holt; brother, Ronnie Doyal. Sandra was a loving wife, mother and granny and will be missed dearly by all that loved and knew her. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her husband of 60 years, Louie Nelson Hamilton; children, Donna Vice, (Brian), Tammie Mangum (Mark), Cindy Phillips (Eddie), Scott Hamilton (Donna); grandchildren, Dave Martin (Tailena), Clay Ginn, Brandi Parris (Clint), Chris Hamilton (Catie), Nelson Vice (Anna); great-grandchildren, Breanna Martin, Trint Ginn, Hannah Martin, Tucker Hamilton, Will Hamilton, Olivia Parris; great-great, grandson, Brayden Ferguson; sister, Keela Cosper; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dave Martin, Chris Hamilton, Nelson Vice, Chase Johnson, Colby Nelson, Cole Gaddy, and Riley Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Sandra's caregivers would say that she was humble, kind and the sweetest person ever. Special thanks to three beautiful ladies, Pat Smallwood, Wynell Noah, and Peggy Cross for their loving care and friendship.
