Memorial service for Sandra Frantz "Gigi" Falkenberry, 76, will be 3 p.m., today, January 26, at Grace Episcopal Church with The Reverend Lee Shafer and The Reverend Hugh Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. in King Parlor at the church. The family will hold a private interment. Mrs. Falkenberry died Thursday at her residence. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Bill Falkenberry; Daughter, Jean Smith and husband Dan of Anniston; Son, Douglass Falkenberry and wife Damona of Birmingham; Grandchildren, Morgan Loera, Kyle Smith, Danson Smith, JeanAnn Smith, Ansleigh Falkenberry and Aldyn Falkenberry; Great-Grandchildren, Cali Croom Loera and Kynli Marie Loera; Sisters, Tanya Scott of New Iberia, La and Delicia Reily of Haley,Id; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Falkenberry is preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Dolph Frantz. Mrs. Falkenberry was active on the Board of Children's Services and the Purls of Grace knitting group. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church for over 42 years and a local business owner for over 20 years, owning and operating The Happy Hallmark Shop in Anniston. Mrs. Falkenberry was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be loved and missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, St. Michaels and all Angels Episcopal Church, and Board of Children's Services.
