A Celebration of Life service for Sara E. Oswalt, 82, will be noon, Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. The family will receive friends today from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Oswalt passed away May 21, 2016 at Stringfellow Hospital. Survivors include her children, Lynn Oswalt and Yvonne Oswalt Coger (Allen); grandson, William Coger; sister, Theresa Ziegler and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Oswalt; parents, Mark and Reba Davidson; brothers, Jack Davidson, Bill Davidson and Bud Davidson; and her sisters, Rosemary Crabtree, Peggy Cheatwood, Betty Burgess and Rebecca Ann Davidson. Mrs. Oswalt retired as a 50 year employee at Wakefield's shoe department, waiting on as many as four generations of family members and treasured the friends she made there. She was an avid Alabama football fan and deeply loved her family, whom will miss her dearly. Online condolences made at www.graybrownservice.com
