Funeral service for Sara "Juanita" Rhinehart Wallace, 82, will be today, January 22, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown Funeral Home in Anniston with Rusty Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends today from 1 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Wallace passed away at home on Friday, January 20, 2016. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Alvin Clinton Wallace; three children, Terry Wallace (Jonna), of Helena; Donnie Wallace (Beverly), of Florence; Angela Banks (Garry), of Oxford; four grandchildren, Rachel Wallace and Clint Wallace, of Helena and Andrea Banks and Breanna Banks, of Oxford; one great-grandchild, Marley Moore, of Oxford; one sister, Ruth Rutherford, of Alexandria; two brothers, Fred Rhinehart, of Rock Run and Sam Rhinehart, of Cedartown, Ga.; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wallace was born and raised in Rock Run, graduated from Spring Garden High School, lived in Oxford for 58 years, worked at JCPenneys and retired from Martin's/Wakefields. She was a founding and active member of Betta View Hills Church of Christ in Oxford and worshiped there for 57 years. She was a loving and devoted Christian wife, mother, maw-maw, aunt, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Nancy Rhinehart; three sisters, Estelle Hinton, Mattie Bell Williams and Edna Tierce; six brothers, Clyde, Albert, Winford, G.W., John and Reese Rhinehart. The family wishes to thank Alacare Hospice for their caring, professional service and their loyal friends during this difficult time.
