Funeral service for Sharon Cheree Talmadge, 48, will be Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church, the Rev. Dennis McKinney, pastor with the Rev. Henry Cooley officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Talmadge remains' will arrive at the church one hour prior to her services. Mrs. Talmadge graduated from Anniston High School in 1982 and was employed at Martin's/Wakefield's. Survivors include her children, Nicholas J. and Jae Micheala Talmadge; her mother, Willie Ruth Herring; sister, Sharada C. Herring, all of Anniston; sister in-laws, Linda (Derrick) McRath, Marche (William) Scott, of Anniston; brother-in-law, Elder Anthony (Seal) Talmadge, of Fayetteville, N.C.; grandmother, Dazarine Woods, of Anniston; aunts, Johnnie (Robert) Moore, of Anniston, Mary (Corbin) Mitchell, Romaine Mitchell, of Dayton, Ohio, Juanita Reise, of Orlando, Fla.; faithful friend, Denise Freeman, of Oxford; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Herring Jr.; husband, Pastor Larry J. Talmadge; sons, Micheal Alexander and Larry Jerome Talmadge.
