The celebration of the life of Sharon Street, 68, will be held graveside at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Anniston Memorial Gardens with Rev. Michael Jones officiating. The service is for family only. Mrs. Street died Monday at her residence after a courageous 9-year battle with ALS. Survivors include her mother, Louise Howell; her husband, Malcolm B. Street, Jr. of Anniston; a daughter, Lara Street (Brad) Carr of Alexandria; a son, Bart (Jennifer) Street of Greenville, SC; sister, Vicki (Steve) Worthy of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Ben Carr, Sydney Street and Mac Street. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenny Lambert and her father, Ben Howell. The family wishes to express its profound gratitude to the caregivers who have walked side by side with them throughout this challenging journey. Mrs. Street was a lifelong resident of Anniston. She was a founding member of Indian Oaks Christian Church where she was a pianist and vocalist for over 20 years. She will be remembered most of all for pouring her life into her family. She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Kenny Lambert and her father, Ben Howell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choosing in her memory.
