A memorial service to celebrate the life of Steven Duane Huddleston, 17, will be Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Covenant Life Ministries in Alexandria with the Rev. Dennis Smith and the Rev. Ricky Hudson officiating. On Tuesday, November 4, 2014, Steven left his earthly body and is now with Jesus. He is survived by his parents, William Duane and Wanda Lutrick Huddleston; a sister, Katie Huddleston; his grandparents, Larry Huddleston, Reanee Mosley, Steve Lutrick and Jackie Lowe; his great-grandparents, the Rev. Charles and Barbara Lutrick. Steven attended Pleasant Valley High School, Gadsden State Community College, Covenant Life Ministries and Unity Church. Steven loved people, fishing, hunting and sports. He will be missed by his family, friends, classmates and community. Most of all, he had a passion for Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Doris Huddleston and great grandparents, the Rev. E.D. and Callie Morris. The family requests casual dress for the celebration service.
