Funeral service for Stevie DeLeon Pritchett, 68, will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel, in Jacksonville, with the Rev. Garry Brown officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at funeral home 6-8 this evening. Mr. Pritchett died Saturday, December 13, 2014, at RMC, in Anniston. He is survived by one sister, Evelyn DeGalleford, of Jacksonville; four brothers, Donald Lee (Patricia) Pritchett, of Gadsden, Pete (Brenda Faye) Pritchett, of Jacksonville, Jimmy Pierce (Brenda Joyce) Pritchett, of Jacksonville and Tommy (Jane) Pritchett, of Oxford; one sister-in-law, Betty Pritchett, of Jacksonville and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be family members and friends. Mr. Pritchett was a member of Nances Creek United Methodist Church where he served as associate pastor and Administrative Board Chairman for many years. He was a devout evangelist claiming thousands of souls for the Kingdom of God. In his spare time, Mr. Pritchett loved to paint and had a real talent with his artwork. He enjoyed being a magician and Mr. Pockets, the clown, for a hobby. Mr. Pritchett was a caring man and gave to those in need. He was held in high esteem by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forney Gray Sr. and Leila Izora Rollins Pritchett; three brothers, Forney Gray (Faye Jackson) Pritchett Jr., Jerry Ward Pritchett and Jesse Eugene Pritchett and three sisters, Helen Jane (William) Homesley, Betty Lorene (Richard Dean) Flohr and Eula Luella Pritchett.
