Longmont, CO - Susan Joy Dunnam, of Longmont, Colorado, died suddenly February 3, 2013 at Longmont United Hospital. She was 48 years old. She was born July 30, 1964 in Plattsburgh, New York to Robert and Sally (Schneider) Scarborough. Her family moved to Fort Walton Beach, Fla. where she grew up and graduated from Choctawhatchee High School. On March 26, 1993 in Oxford, Alabama Susan married Russell L. Dunnam. They made their home in Oxford until moving to Longmont three years ago. In Oxford she served many years as the secretary at Trinity Baptist Church. She was currently employed as a lead health care representative for BC Services. Susan was recently honored as employee of the month. Susan was a member of Faith Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed gardening, reading and bird watching. She was preceded in death by her parents. Susan is survived by her husband, Russell; daughter, Sarah Dunnam and stepson, William Lee Dunnam, all of Longmont; a brother Johnny Scarborough, of Charlotte, N.C.; aunt, Kathleen Penner, of Newton, Kan.; uncle, Phil Schneider, of Issaquah, Wash.; and uncle, Gale Scarborough, of Wichita, Kansas. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Faith Baptist Church. Cremation at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
