Amos; one sister, Janet Amos Box and brothers, Larry Amos, Lynn Amos and Jay Amos and nieces and nephews, Justin Amos, Ashley Addison, Elizabeth Amos, Cameron Box, Corey Box and Katie Hughes. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Margaret Shaw Amos and his father, Wyatt Amos. Mr. Amos was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston. He was a 1974 graduate from Walter Wellborn High School and graduated from Pharmacy School at the University of Auburn in 1979. Mr. Amos was respected throughout the pharmaceutical industry of Calhoun County, most recently working at Calhoun County Compounding. He was a long time member of the Oxford Fest Committee and served five years as treasurer for the committee. Mr. Amos spent five years serving as Bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was loved by many now removed from the Anniston Area. He was active in the community of Oxford and in the history of his ancestors, who were among the earliest settlers in Alabama. He will be missed by countless associates, friends and family but lived with a deep and abiding faith that life was eternal and we will all be together again.
