The funeral service for Mr. Terry M. Allen, 63, will be at 2 p.m. today, December 20, 2016, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Reaves officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at White's Gap Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. today at the church. Terry passed away on December 16, 2016. Though never defined by cancer, Terry allowed his experiences to deepen his faith and relationship with God. And, the endearment and pride he held for his family swelled with each day. Terry was a 1971 graduate of Jacksonville High School. He retired, in 1996, as a Senior Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force. He honorably served his country for over 20 years and earned two Associates degrees from the Community College of the Air Force. Terry held a deep loyalty and gratitude for his time in service to his country. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and the Faith Riders motorcycle club, where he had a well-earned reputation for being hysterically particular, always fun-loving, and the first to help anyone in need. Terry was an avid outdoorsman and hunter who cherished most the time and memories it created with his son, grandsons, and friends. Employed by Rozars Auto Paint & Supplies for 19 years, he was fond of his work-family and the fellowship that each brought to his days. His beloved father, McClowd Allen, precedes him in death. Terry is survived by his wife, Vicky Allen; his mother, Fannie Allen; a brother, Jerry Allen (Debbie); a son Eric Allen (Monica); a daughter, Brandy Childs; a step- son, Jimmy Harrell (Anna); three step daughters Misty Miller (Luke), Brandy Forsyth (Chad), and Tracy Echols (Jay); two nephews, Shane Allen and Brett Allen and grandchildren, Corry Allen, Chase Allen, Hanna Honea, Lawson Harrell, Rayne Beck, Cainan Forsyth, Jayden Forsyth, Finleigh Forsyth, Laken Forsyth, Pailyn Forsyth, Liam Miller, and Phoebe Miller. Pallbearers will be Jerry Allen, Eric Allen, Shane Allen, Brett Allen, Corry Allen, Chase Allen, and Jimmy Harrell. Honorary pallbearers will be The Faith Riders.
