Funeral service for Thelma Argo Collier, 89, will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Mrs. Collier passed way Thursday, May 5, 2016. Survivors include her husband, William Albert Collier; brothers, Clyde Lewis (Connie), of Anniston and Simmie Lewis (Phyllis), of Coldwater; sister, Agnes Skinner (Jerry), of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; adopted daughter, Katrina Freeman (Bill) and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Collier is preceded in death by her parents, Sim and Leona Lewis; two sisters and five brothers. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 26. Mrs. Collier was active in the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries for over 55 years and volunteered for the Cerebral Palsy Telethon.
