A Memorial service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Thelma Lillian Buote, 87, of Anniston. Mrs. Buote passed away on March 17, 2014 at NE Alabama Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Buote was a proud member of the Mayflower Association. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Naples, Fla. and also Church of Our Savior in Somerset, Mass. Mrs. Buote is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jackson; her sons, Jeffrey Thomas Jackson and Richard John Jackson; longtime friends, Russell and Gracie Crook. She is survived by her daughters, Martha A. Clausen and Deborah A. Paquette and her husband, Michael; a son-in-law, John C. Clausen; her grandchildren, John C. Clausen Jr., Roberts T. Clausen, Jennifer Motta, and Jonathan Paquette; four great-granddaughters, Ashley, Amanda, Alley and Angela Motta; her sister-in-law, Virginia Grinnell and her godchildren, Virginia and Kenneth Brooks and William Crook.
