Funeral service for Theresa Gail Woodrow Dickson, 67, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Praise and Worship Church of God with the Rev. Sylvester Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Edwardsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 5 - 8 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Dickson passed away Sunday at her residence surrounded by her family. Survivors include her husband, James Dickson; daughters, Ginger P. Silva and Barbie Dickson Johnson; son, Jimmy Shane Parker; sisters Evelyn Helms (Gary), Karen King (Clark), Vickie Forrest (James); brothers, Thomas Woodrow, Richard Woodrow, Bobby Woodrow, Joe Woodrow (Gail); sisters-in-law, Margaret Woodrow, Silvia Dickson Easterwood, Donna Gresham; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dickson is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Carrie Woodrow; daughter, Wendy Gail Parker; brothers, Carlos Woodrow and Millard Mickey Woodrow, and six other siblings. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Shane Parker, Joshua Shane Parker, Richard Woodrow, Bobby Woodrow, Joe Woodrow, Justin Toland. Honorary pallbearer will be Gabriel Silva (Lil Man). Mrs. Dickson was a resident of Talladega and the owner/operator of North Street Florist. She was heavily involved with the American Cancer Society.
