Graveside service for Mr. Thomas Jackson "Jack" Andrews, 79, will be Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Jacksonville with the Rev. Scotty Moore officiating. Mr. Andrews died Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at RMC Jacksonville. He is survived by his three daughters, Donna (Buff) Hall, of Birmingham, Debra Andrews, of Lincoln and Renee (Robert Jr.) Rowan, of Jacksonville; two sisters, Linda Smith, of Jacksonville and Doris (Tony) Moore, of Anniston; four brothers, Cecil, Clayton, John and Perry Andrews, all of Jacksonville; six grandchildren, Todd (Radostina) Langley, Krystal (Reagan Kenney) Greenwood, Hillary Harris, Tyler Greenwood, Drake Thornton, Alex Rowan and Olivia Rowan; seven great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be family members and friends. Mr. Andrews was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville a US Army veteran of the Korean War and a Christian of Southern Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid musician, playing in bands and on the radio. Mr. Andrews was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nowlin and Lydia Adair Andrews and two brothers, Jimmy and Knox Andrews. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations by made to Children's Hospital of Alabama, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233. Online condolences to the family at K.L.
