A Memorial service for Mr. Tim Harris, 60, of Anniston, will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Dr. Roland P. Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Harris passed away on April 11, 2015 at NE Alabama Regional Medical Center. Mr. Harris was a native of Anniston. He was a member of the Harris family that owned and operated Food Town on South Noble Street. He was a 1972 graduate of Anniston High School and was employed by B.R. Williams. He was an Auburn University football and basketball fan and also was a fan of auto racing. He and his family enjoyed cruising in the Caribbean and vacationing in Daytona. He was a supporter of Faith Christian School Athletics, was a member of the Anniston-Calhoun County Quarterback Club; and the Anniston Elks Club. Mr. Harris is preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Vivian Roberts Harris; his brother, Ronnie Harris. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna Burch Harris; his sons, Matthew Burch Harris and Tyler Roberts Harris (Katherine); his step grandchildren, Whitten, Lane, and Lily Katherine; a sister-in-law, Brenda Harris; and nephews, Michael Harris and Jason Harris.
