Visitation for Mr. Tommy Brooks, 52, of Jacksonville, will be on Monday April 13, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory. A short Celebration of Life service will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Terry Sims officiating. Mr. Brooks passed away on April 9 at his residence. He is survived by his son, Joshua Brooks, of Indiana; daughter, Kelsey Brooks, of Indiana; grandchildren, Gracelyn and Xander Brooks, of Indiana; twin sister, Teresa Pate, of Oxford; sisters, Linda Williamson (Don), of Birmingham, Lucille Hamilton, of Jacksonville, Barbara Batey (Thomas), of Jacksonville; brothers, Garry Brooks (Vickey), of Warsaw, Indiana; special aunt, Martha Kindle, of Saks; uncle, Wallace Brooks, of Panama City, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Richard Sherrow, Jason Sherrow, Steve Batey (Sebrena), Michael Shane Brooks (Linda), Jon Brooks (Robin), Brock Pate (Cindy), Hunter Pate, Brad Calhoun(Tara), Paula Hendrick (Rod), Tara Calhoun (Brad), Kelly Browning (Jamie), Tifani Gibson, Tami Graff (Mike), Christy Maraggos, Chrystal Pellerin; many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jewell Brooks; brothers, Charles "Man" Brooks and Randy Brooks. Mr. Brooks was a truck driver for 28 years. He loved Alabama football.
