Tommy Burdette, 70, a native of Clay County and long time resident of Foley, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. He is survived by his two daughters, Amy Pacetti, of Knoxville, Tenn. and Susanne Stewart, of Anniston; five grandchildren and two sisters, June East, of Anniston and Becky McKay, of Munford. Mr. Burdette was a retired school teacher who spent most of his years in the classroom at DeArmanville High School. A memorial service for Mr. Burdette will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Golden Springs Baptist Church in Anniston.
