Service for Tommy H. Harris, 71, will be today at 2 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Pitts and the Rev. Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon until service time. Survivors include his wife, Jackie Pettus Harris; son, Dustin B. Harris (Anna); daughters, Wendi Harris Owsley (Hinton "Bud"), Stephanie Coston, Cyndi Edmonds (Scott); grandchildren, Taylor Coston, Rivers Owsley, Harris Owsley, Hinton Owsley, Emma Burk Owsley, Kiley Edmonds, Molly Coston, Carson Edmonds and Jack Henry Harris; sisters, Jerrie Motes (Orval), Debra Prichard (Sam), Shelby Ramey (Donnie) and niece, Tonya Ramey. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Mary Alice Shaddix Harris. Pallbearers will be Eric Prichard, Gary Vernon, Donnie Ramey, Jeffrey Prichard, Hinton Owsley and Bud Owsley. Mr. Harris retired from Bell South after 38 years of service and was retired from the National Guard. He was an avid fisherman and loyal Alabama Crimson Tide fan.
