Funeral service for Mr. Tommy Ray Pardue, 62, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Lineville Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Colquett officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Lineville City Cemetery. Mr. Pardue passed away at his home on Sunday, December 27, 2015. He was a native of Anniston and a former resident of Daytona Beach, Florida and Gadsden. He had also lived in DeArmanville for 22 years and settled in Lineville in 2007. Tommy was the owner and operator of All Star Heating and Air and had also worked as the Maintenance Supervisor for Southern Property Management. Mr. Pardue was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1971 until 1975, a graduate of Gadsden State Community College and organized and served as the first president of the Silver Run Beagle Club. He was also a member of Lineville Baptist Church. Mr. Pardue is survived by his wife, Tinina Pardue, of Lineville; his mother, Maxine Pardue, of Gadsden; two sons, Derrick Pardue (Kimberly), of DeArmanville and Jeremy Pardue, of Douglasville, Ga.; three foster sons, Bobby Bannister (Aleisha) of Sneed, Brandon Gallagher and Zachary "Kyle" Gallagher, both of Alexandria; one grandson, Karsten Pardue, of Douglasville, Ga.; one sister, Shirley King (Jimmy), of Atalla; one brother, W.J. Pardue (Jean), of Ragland; three nieces, Lisa King, Katrina King and Katie Gossett. Mr. Pardue was preceded in death by his father, Tommie Lee Pardue. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Pardue, Derrick Pardue, Brandon Gallagher, Kyle Gallagher, Bobby Bannister, Colt Austin, Nick Humphries and Tyler Horton. The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home Lineville today December 29, 2015 at 5-8 p.m. Mr. Pardue will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time on Wednesday.
