Virginia Ann (Nall) Landry ("Nanny"), 86, passed away on September 25, 2017 in Charlotte, NC. Virginia was born in Oxford, AL on September 11, 1931. She graduated from Anniston High School in 1949 and spent most of her life in Anniston, AL. A retired Kitchen's employee, Virginia loved working, her church and above all her family. Her always positive attitude, fashionable shiny shoes and her contagious smile will never be forgotten. Virginia was a selfless, beautiful and loving soul who is finally at peace and reunited with Norris Landry, her beloved husband of more than 50 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents Bertha and William Nall, brother Charles Nall, and great-grandson, Wyatt Dyer. Virginia is survived by daughter Gail Landry Ramey and her husband Bruce Ramey of Anniston, AL, granddaughter Allison Landry (McLacklan) Dyer and her husband, Weston Dyer, and beloved great-grandson Connor Dyer of Charlotte, NC; as well as nieces, nephews, and many friends. Her family appreciates the wonderful care and love she received from the staff in her home at Brookdale Concord Parkway (Clare Bridge) in Concord, NC; the doctors, nurses, palliative care and hospice representatives at Carolinas Healthcare System; and the caregivers of the Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster, who helped her transition in her last days. Funeral Service 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at KL Brown Memory Chapel, Anniston, Alabama. Family will receive friends 10-11:00 A.M.
