Wallace G. Todd, 78, of Remlap, AL., also a long time resident of Cleburn and Calhoun Counties, died peacefully at his home in the early hours of Friday, May 22, 2015. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by Joyce, his wife of 57 years; two daughters Rose Graham (Chuck), of Jacksonville and Donna Isbell (Wes), of Pinson; five grandchildren, Rebekah Graham, Chaz Graham, Aaron Isbell, Jeremy Isbell, Christopher Isbell; one brother, Hobert Todd (Polly) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a retired Veteran of the U.S.A.F. and 117th ARW. He was also a writer for the Blount Countian, a member of the American Legion, Post 72 and a charter member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Oneonta. Because of his generous spirit, he chose to donate his body to The University of South Alabama School of Medicine in hopes of helping others. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Calvary Episcopal Church (Wallace Todd Memorial Fund), 1002 Park Avenue, Oneonta, AL 35121 or Lakeside Hospice, 4010 Masters Rd., Pell City, AL 35128. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Lemley Chapel from 12 noon until memorial service time of 2 p.m. Father Jim Elliott will officiate the service. Lemley Funeral Home and Crematory directing.
