Dr. Walter Lee Foster, Jr., 78, passed away on August 23, 2017 at his home in Destin, FL. An avid fisherman, he spent his retirement catching King Mackerel off of the Okaloosa County Pier where he established many friendships and exchanged stories of "the biggest catch" with tourists and fellow anglers. He enjoyed sunsets on the Destin harbor with his wife, Kathy; he liked Mozart, Jane Austen movies, British Comedy, The History Channel, blackberry cobbler and his pipe. He practiced Chiropractic and Acupuncture in Anniston, AL for over thirty years and adopted many recipients of the Meals on Wheels program, often visiting them in the evening after he left the office. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Foster of Destin, FL; daughters, Kate Rudloff ( Scott) of Destin, FL, and Stephanie Ross of Fairhope, AL; grandchildren, Foster Ross, Mia Ross, Jonathan Rudloff and William Rudloff; sister, June Brooks (Roy) of Talladega, AL; brother, Tom Foster (Donna) of Trussville, AL; many nieces and nephews. He requested that there be no service. In lieu of flowers, take a kid fishing. To share memories, express condolences and sign the guestbook please visit, www.daviswatkins.com.
