Funeral service for William David Hill, 24, of Weaver, Ala. and Yuba City, Calif., will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Weaver Church of Christ with Minster Aaron Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Cherry Grove Cemetery in Borden Springs. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Will passed away Monday, March 3, 2014, at his home in Yuba City, Calif. Survivors include his mother, Connie Hill (Shurwood); father, David Ray Hill (Jennifer); sister, Anslyn Ray Hill; brothers, Ronnie Dale Norton II, Mark Bowen, Matt and Luke Bowen; grandparents, Martha W. Boshell, Ray and Onez Hill; uncles, Daniel C. Boshell (Michelle) and Ricky Hill; aunts, Elizabeth Edgeworth and Pam Freeman (Kevin); cousins, Rosie Boshell, Matthew Durham, Anna Boshell, Dane Salazar, Laney Stacks (Jared), Justin Hill, Lindsey Freeman and Gianna Luna; his extended California family, Lee, Stacey, Brenna, Jacob, Nicholas, and Mason Frederico and A.J. Frere. Will is preceded in death by his grandfather, Clarence R. Boshell and uncle, James Tony Hill. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Dale Norton, Ronnie Dale Norton II, Blake Beene, Matthew Durham, Mike Starr, Wayne Smith, Tommy Williams and Kevin Freeman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sonny Mayne and the Weaver High School Football team of 2007-2008. Will was a native of Weaver and a member of the Weaver High School Class of 2008 where he was involved in all sports, but had a passion for football. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, and was an avid Auburn football fan. Will was recently blessed to have traveled to California to work for Wes Tower Communications, visit family in Virginia, and as an Auburn fan was able to go with his dad and uncle to the amazing Iron Bowl of 2013. Will was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, and cousin who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Condolences may be left at www.chapelhillfh.com.
