Funeral services with military honors for William Edward Bohannon, 91, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Geraldine C. Bohannon; daughter, Rhonda (Wayne) Watson; granddaughter, Kim (Jeremy) French; great-granddaughter, Paisley French; step grandchildren, Tammy (Rich) Alldredge, Samantha (Jason) Compton and Jennifer Watson; step great-grandchildren, Angel French, Blake French, Lindsey (Matt) Moore, Drenon Alldredge, Tamrin Alldredge, Callie Compton; brother-in-law; sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jeremy French, Blake French, Rick Alldredge, Drenon Alldredge, Matt Moore and Billy McGinnis. Mr. Bohannon served in the U.S. Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was an electrician and owned and operated Cleburne Electric Motor Shop. He loved to sing a cappella in church. The family requests in lieu of flower donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or your preferred charity.
