Funeral service for William "David" Hannah, 63, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crook Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Mr. Hannah died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday. Survivors include his daughter, Amy Hannah Spurling (Tommy), of Gadsden; grandchildren, Hunter Lee Zuchelli, Terra Brooke Spurling and Tori Brennon Spurling; brothers, Frank Hannah, of Wellington and Tom Stedham, of Miami, Fla.; nephew, Ed Hannah (Jennifer), of North Carolina and great-nieces, Elizabeth and Kathryn Mae Hannah. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ervin C. and Julia Mae Hannah. Pallbearers will be Pete Watts, Homer Thibault, Marcal Turner, Ronald Dickey, Wendell Reid, Terry Reid and Mason Hubbard. Mr. Hannah was a 1970 graduate of Alexandria High School and a member of the Basketball Team. He served in the Alabama Army National Guard and worked for M & H Valve Co in Anniston and retired from Anniston Army Depot. He loved fishing, woodwork and golf.
