William Howard Hartley, 55, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at Tanner Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sonny Martin and Bart Young officiating. Burial will follow in Cleburne Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include wife, Denise Hartley, of Heflin, mother, Dava Nell Hartley, of Heflin; daughters, Hillary Evans, of Heflin; Angela Hartley, of Ranburne, Jennifer Dutton, of Graham, daughter, Hope Moore, of Carrollton, Ga.; sons, Jimmy (Katie) Morgan, of Ranburne, Joe (Crystal) Smith, of Heflin; sister, Marie (Larry) Dobbs, of Ranburne; brothers, Randy (Renee) Wood, of Ranburne, brother, Roy (Penni) Hartley, ofRanburne; nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mason Wessinger, Trey Yarbrough, Justin Lovvorn, Gene Daniel, Sammy Jackson, Cody Williamson, Randy Lovvorn, Wade Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Morris and Daniel Williamson. Mr. Hartley was a native of Blount County and resident of Cleburne County for the past 40 years. William loved working his horses and farming and also spending time with his grandchildren.
