William Junior Austin, 77, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at University Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today September 16, 2014, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Burns and the Rev. Joe Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow in Chosea Springs Cemetery. Visitation was held September 15, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include wife, Johnnie Faye Austin, of Piedmont; daughters, Susan (Donald) Turner, Reba Morrison, of Anniston; son, Gary (Tracie) Austin, of Anniston; step-sons, Ray (Mellony) King and Randy (Tonya) King Moody, of Moody, AL; sisters - Virginia Miles, Roanoke, AL and Mary Harris, Pell City, AL; nine, grandchildren; 17 - great- grandchildren; special friend Charles Howell. Pallbearers, Roger Edwards, Billy Ward, Leonard Beecham, Chris Turner ,Anthony Turner and Landon Austin. Mr. Austin was a resident of Cleburne and Calhoun Counties for most of his life.
