A graveside service for Mr. William "Bill" Ruger will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Thomas Hill Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Mr. Ruger passed away at home on February 18, 2017. Mr. Ruger is survived by his daughters, Donna (Scott) Hamilton, Sherry (Joey) Lane and Michelle (Jeff) Hollis; his son, Kevin (Alisha) Ruger; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-granchildren; his sister, Beverly Peasant, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was born in Daytona Beach, Florida. He served his country as a soldier in the Army during the Korean War. He lived in Calhoun County for 43 years. Bill enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Joan Ruger; his son, Gary Ruger; his parents, Mirian and Thomas Ruger; and seven siblings.
