Funeral ceremony for Sister Willie Lemon Rittenhouse, 88, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, The Rev. Titus Roberson Sr., Pastor with The Rev. Eugene Leonard Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Public viewing will be held today from 1-8 p.m. with a Wake from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her son, James H Rittenhouse Jr. (Ophelia); her sister, Wanda L. Morris (Chris); her daughter, Phyllis Rittenhouse; her grandchildren, Dawn, Josh, James III Rittenhouse; two sisters-in-law; six great-grandchildren; her special care taker, Meeka Reid, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Paul Lemon and Marie Nesby Lemon; her husband of 37 years, James H. Rittenhouse Sr.; her brothers, Oliver, Lindsey, John and Montee.
